A poem about a student [by Sarah M]

 I wrote this poem last week (in about 30 seconds) right after my first Zoom call with Mark. I think it's the first thing I've written in too long to say, but I'm thankful to this class for making it happen! 


Tiantian (Lily)

Lily thinks differently

She questions colors, thoughts, reasons

She wants a reason 

She wants her own reasons to own her own.

    This just popped into my head: a project idea for you -- 10 short poems, like this, about 10 of your students over the year, title being the student's name.
